The company creation background
“KazTransCom” Joint Stock Company was established on the basis of the State Caspian production and technical communications agency, which in 1993 was corporatized and renamed into “Caspian Munay Baylanys” Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC).
In March 2001 “Caspian Munay Baylanys” OJSC and “Aktyubneftesvyaz” OJSC were merged. The reorganized enterprise was named “KazTransSvyaz” OJSC. In summer of the same year the Connection agreement was signed between “Baylanys” OJSC and “KazTransSvyaz” OJSC, which resulted in the creation of a powerful institution with a high level of capitalization, profitability and investment attractiveness. The company formed as a result of the merger was renamed into “KazTransCom” OJSC.
In connection with the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Joint Stock Companies” on the 13th of May 2003, the former Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 281-I of the 10th of July 1998 “On Joint Stock Companies” was no longer valid, and “KazTransCom” OJSC was renamed into “KazTransCom” JSC.
